To embed the images in the Word 2007 document, perform the following:

1. Click on the Office button
2. Select Prepare
3. Scroll down to the last option which is Edit Links to Files  
4. In the resulting dialog box click the checkmark near the bottom “Save picture in document”, go up and select all of the links and click Update Now and then OK. 
5. When you save the file the pictures will be there and it can be sent to others.
